I typically meet with clients on a weekly basis, though some people prefer biweekly sessions. The number of sessions is dependent on your needs and goals and we will collaborate on this together.
Is there a difference between counseling and therapy?
You might hear the words counseling and therapy used pretty interchangeably. Sometimes counseling describes shorter-term, specifically targeted interventions for clearly defined concerns, whereas therapy may involve more exploration of feelings, motivations, past history and traumas, etc. There can definitely be a lot of overlap in counseling and therapy. My approach is to utilize both counseling interventions and psychotherapeutic exploration as we work together on your concerns and goals.

Payment can be made be credit card, FSA or HSA card.
