How counseling can help
As a counselor I can provide knowledgable guidance to help sort through the challenges and complexities that may be present in your life. Along with traditional talk therapy modalities, I also utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Densensitization and Reprocessing Therapy).
EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based treatment for trauma, anxiety, depression and more.
Understanding your personal situation, symptoms, history, and goals helps me to create a treatment plan and implement therapeutic interventions based on your needs. Your experiences, values and goals are an essential part of this process as work together.
I offer a supportive presence and gentle and insightful exploration of your concerns.
From your very first session, it’s important that you feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed as this not only aligns with my professional style, but also allows us to build a foundation of openness and trust. A solid therapeutic relationship enhances the meaningful work we do in therapy. One of my strengths is the ability to put my clients at ease with kindness, warmth and acceptance.
My practice is 100% online which makes it a convenient option for those who prefer the flexibility of meeting from their preferred location. I work with adult clients anywhere in the state of Texas.
